A basic study of United States Government will provide students with an essential understanding of the principles, structure, processes, functions, limitations, and other related political activities of federal, state, and local government. Within this framework students will trace the historical and theoretical trends that inspired American democracy. Particular attention will also focus on the correlation between social problems and public policy.
