Descriptive and inferential statistical techniques and methods in business are taught. Topics include qualitative data analysis, frequency distributions, numerical methods, data dispersions, variance analysis, estimation theory, sampling distributions, discrete and continuous probability distributions, hypothesis testing and confidence interval estimation. (Cross-listed as MATH 21003). Formerly BUS 2053.

Must complete one pre-requisite with a grade of "C" or higher.
