This course presents quadratic, absolute value, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions and their graphs. It also includes a study of inequalities, system of equations, and matrices (graphing calculator required). Formerly MTH 1023.

Prerequisites

Must complete all pre-requisites with a grade of "B" or higher (this option will require concurrent enrollment in MATH 00131 Math Skills) 

OR an ACT Math 19 or higher or have an equivalent placement test score

OR a 17-18 ACT Math placement score, or equivalent test score with a concurrent enrollment in MATH 00131.
Math Skills; or a grade of "B" or higher in MATH 02043 Essentials of Math; or a ā€œCā€ in MATH 02043
Essentials of Math with a concurrent enrollment in MATH 00131 Math Skills.
