Provides learners with the opportunity to develop and practice health history taking and physical examination skills. History taking methodology, physical examination skills, health promotion techniques and clinical assessment tools are discussed. Age related assessment considerations and findings are reviewed. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to perform a comprehensive medical history and physical assessment.  Student must hold a current RN license or be enrolled in the registered nursing program or obtain the instructor's permission.
