This course provides a study of basic physics concepts related to Industrial Technology career fields. Topics include units of measure (English & metric), force, work, momentum, power, heat, thermodynamics, waves and magnetism. Students will be challenged to synthesize specific physics concepts and apply them in a general way to develop solutions to anticipated realworld problems. Laboratory experiments are interspersed with lecture material to reinforce concepts. Teamwork, problem solving, troubleshooting, and application of the scientific method are emphasized.
